Thomas manages our work on risk transfer and risk management and collaborates with the insurance sector, small and medium-sized enterprises, public agencies and regulatory authorities and stakeholders in the agriculture, health, investment and other sectors.

Previously, Thomas worked with the agriculture insurance startup Pula to launch their operations in Nigeria. He also worked with the German Development Agency GIZ and led their work on insurance market development in Africa. He lived in Zambia for several years while working with the International Labour Organization (ILO) on social security and microinsurance.

He holds an M.Sc. in Economics and a B.A. in Business Administration.
