Warucu is an operations management professional with over 15 years of experience who thrives in customer-focused situations and ensures timescales and quality are consistently upheld.

As the Operations Manager, Warucu has three main spheres of responsibility: supporting the teams in implementing grants, one of the instruments by which FSD Africa seeks to address systemic challenges in SSA Africa, leading the operations team to provide effective administrative and office management support for the FSD Africa team and providing support to the Management, Network committees, and at high-profile events.

She has been with FSD Africa since its inception, helping build systems and managing the business’s operations, procurement and HR aspects from 2013 -2020. Warucu previously worked for an FMCG and in the hotel industry before joining FSD Africa. She holds a BSc degree in Hotel Management, a Higher Diploma in HR, and is a certified Prince2 Practioner.
