Vallary joined FSD Africa in March 2019 and acts in the capacity of Procurement Officer, ensuring that Programme Procuments are in line with project needs and providing overall guidance in all procurement related matters. She has over 15 years experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Management having worked in Public and Private sectors, eventually moving  to working with Donor Funded Organations such as Action Contre La Faim (ACF) International, Save the Children International and Micro-Enterprises Support Programme Trust (MESPT),  both in Developmental and Humanitarian/Emergency Programmes. She has served in various capacities in both the fields of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, speciality being in procurement. 

Vallary is a member of Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) where she holds a Diploma in Procurement and Supply. She also holds a Bachelors’ Degree in Purchasing and Supply from Jomo Kenyatta University of Science and Technology.
