FSD Africa’s Credit Market Development Programme (CMDP) seeks to improve access to data on credit markets in countries across sub-Saharan Africa.
Working alongside central banks in key markets, we’re working to improve the collection, dissemination and use of credit market data by regulators, policy makers and businesses. To achieve our goals, we’re working directly with central banks to assist with data collection and analysis. We are also working together to create templates for key sectors, with the aim of publishing annual credit monitoring reports to provide specialised research into the state of credit markets in Zambia, Tanzania, Sierra Leone and Ghana . Where needed, our team are also providing technical support to credit market development projects in selected countries.
