Climate Policy Initiative – Landscaping Climate Finance in Africa

The Landscape of Climate Finance in Africa, highlights the gap between the funding available and what is needed to deliver African countries’ NDCs. The report provides the first comprehensive and accurate analysis of climate finance in Africa by region, by sector and by funding source. It will help inform the negotiations at COP27 by providing credible, independent data that all parties can rally around. It will also feed into efforts to measure global progress on climate by creating a reliable baseline against which increases in climate finance to Africa can be measured.
