Study on the Private Debt Markets in Africa

Date: 24 February 2022
Time: 2:30 – 4:00pm EAT

Watch the recording

In collaboration with Lions Head Global Partners, we are hosting this webinar where we will be disseminating and discussing findings and recommendations from a study on private debt markets in Africa for validation and potential implementation.

The study sought to facilitate a better understanding of the landscape of the private debt market in Africa, including the size of the market, evolution, management, structure, investment sectors, regulation, and investor appetite. The findings of the study are expected to feed into the other initiatives envisaged under our Africa Private Equity and Private Debt programme, such as transaction support, regulatory initiatives, and knowledge & capacity building engagements.
