Our Internship Programme

Our internship programme is designed to give young professionals hands-on experience in financial sector development. Interns at FSD Africa are not just observers—they are integral team members who work on real projects, collaborate with experts, and gain exposure to the complexities of Africa’s financial landscape. From mentorship sessions to our Buddy Programme, we ensure that interns feel supported as they gain the skills and confidence to grow their careers.

Our Recruitment Process

We post job opportunities on our careers page and platforms like LinkedIn. All applications are submitted through our online portal, which is simple and user-friendly.

As part of your application, you'll answer a few screening questions to help us learn more about your background. Based on the role, our selection process may include psychometric assessments, competency-based panel interviews, written tests, or informal chats. If you're shortlisted, we’ll outline the interview steps specific to the role.

We keep in touch with candidates throughout every stage—from application to final decision—so you’ll always know where you stand.

We conduct reference checks before an offer is made the successful candidate. Thereafter we begin our pre-onboarding and onboarding process, which is designed to help you feel prepared, welcomed, and ready to succeed.

Employee Wellbeing

We are committed to providing an environment that promotes balance and wellbeing and in which everyone can thrive.

we provide a comprehensive international medical cover to our staff and their immediate dependants 

we manage both local and international corporate pension schemes to enable our staff prepare for financial wellbeing  post-retirement 

we provide a range of different leave types to support our staff in maintaining a healthy work-life balance. This includes 30 days of annual leave, giving employees the opportunity to rest, recharge, and prioritise their well-being. Additionally, staff are entitled to time off for dependants, ensuring they can care for loved ones when needed.

staff who have attained 5 years of service are granted 1 month of paid sabbatical. Those with 10 years’ service are entitled to 3 months of sabbatical leave.

through our annual programme, we aim to support and enhance employee well-being across all aspects, including financial, health, social, and emotional well-being.
