ANCA has partnered with Oliver Wyman to release a groundbreaking report at this event. The report emphasises the crucial role African financial regulators can play in safeguarding nature and outlines actionable steps for them to follow. It also highlights the increasing significance of addressing nature-related risks per their mandate of maintaining financial stability. Given the relatively new and limited coverage of ESG issues and sustainable finance in African media, the main objective of the event will be to enhance the media’s understanding and vocabulary related to nature topics. Additionally, the media will be able to engage directly with the report, ANCA secretariat and members, fostering knowledge exchange and a deeper understanding of ANCA’s benefits and objectives.
