The International Conference on Inclusive Insurance 2023 will take place in Accra Ghana from 23-27 October 2023.  Experts from 50+ countries will discuss and identify ways of accelerating growth and economic viability in inclusive insurance for emerging markets. The conference will be hosted by the National Insurance Commission of Ghana  (NIC), the Ghana Insurers Association  (GIA) and the Insurance Brokers’ Association of Ghana  (IBAG) in cooperation with    Munich Re Foundation  and  the Microinsurance Network. Our participation is to disseminate the R3Lab synthesis report and highlight the country portraits, and the implementation of the recommendations. The session will address two questions: 1) How can regulators better enable private sector innovation, given the limited success in many countries to date? 2) What is the role of innovators to support regulators in this quest, through effective signalling of realities and needs.
