Lara is a communication and advocacy specialist, with over seven years of experience both in the private and not-for-profit sector.
Prior to joining FSD Africa, she was leading the digital engagement team for the British Heart Foundation in London. Before moving to the charity sector, she was a senior communications manager for the Financial Times, where she headed up their emerging markets events portfolio.
Lara holds a BA in Modern Languages, a MSc in European Politics from the London School of Economics and a LLM in Human Rights and Development.
