Lucy Nyoike brings extensive expertise in strategic partnerships, stakeholder engagement, climate action advocacy, and program management, honed through senior-level roles at leading global development and philanthropic institutions. She leverages her deep understanding of Africa’s ecosystems, organizational development, and advocacy to drive meaningful change and sustainable outcomes across the continent.
Lucy has successfully managed complex multi-stakeholder partnerships, spearheaded influential advocacy campaigns, and navigated high-level diplomatic engagements during her roles at The Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP), The Rockefeller Foundation, the Africa Climate Summit Secretariat, and the Africa Energy Summit Secretariat. Her leadership was instrumental in various Africa-wide initiatives, demonstrating her exceptional capability to align diverse stakeholders around shared goals.

Lucy’s strategic acumen and commitment to partnership-driven development enable her to effectively cultivate relationships with governments, development finance institutions, and private sector entities. She holds a Master of Science in Management and Organizational Development from the United States International University and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Science from Kenyatta University.
As Assistant Director in the CEO’s Office at FSD Africa, Lucy drives the execution of the organization’s five-year strategy, driving organisational alignment and cross-pillar collaboration. She actively cultivates and strengthens strategic partnerships and coordinates governance processes, including board engagement and high-level meetings. Lucy also champions strategic communication, thought leadership, and innovation, and provides advisory support to the CEO, ensuring impactful decision-making and programme effectiveness.
