Project description

WIC Capital, launched in 2019, is a pioneering investment vehicle designed to support women-led SMEs across Francophone West Africa. With a focus on blending financial capital and hands-on technical assistance, the fund has transformed how female entrepreneurs access growth financing in Senegal’s largely informal business landscape. Backed by the FSDAi Nyala Facility, WIC Capital has strengthened its investment approach, fostered ecosystem change, and demonstrated the commercial and social value of gender-lens investing in Africa.
