FCDO Reporting Concerns Mailbox

The FCDO (Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office) operates a formal and independent channel for reporting concerns commonly known as the Reporting Concerns Mailbox. It serves as a key mechanism in the FCDO’s integrity framework, allowing individuals to report suspected fraud, corruption, safeguarding issues, anti-money laundering, and other violations safely and confidentially.

It should be noted that the Whistleblowing line provided by FSD Africa should be considered and used as a first resort. If these routes do not prove sufficient, then the Reporting Concerns Mailbox can be used.

This channel is open to a wide range of individuals, including:

  • FCDO staff,
  • Contractors and suppliers delivering FCDO-funded work, and
  • Beneficiaries or stakeholders in the FCDO delivery chain.

Reports can be made about suspected:

  • Corruption
  • Fraud
  • Aid diversion
  • Terrorism funding
  • Money laundering
  • Safeguarding concerns
  • Misuse of FCDO funds or assets, or
  • Complicity in wrongdoing via FCDO contracts.
