Date: 13^th – 14^th

Climathon is a worldwide movement of people who actively combat climate change and is held in cities around the world. In Cape Town, the CIFAR Alliance, BFA Global, and Mastercard’s Center for Inclusive Growth will host their inaugural Climathon in collaboration with Stellenbosch LaunchLab and the University of Cape Town’s Algorand Financial Innovation Hub. During 48 hours, participants will have the chance to meet inspiring entrepreneurs, work on challenges at the nexus of climate and finance and share their ideas to inspire others. Participants can build a new idea from scratch or they can collaborate with existing early-stage startups tackling climate change.
