David is a Senior Manager, Climate Finance at FSD Africa, where he works to advance the organisation’s efforts to close the finance gap in Africa’s cities in the area of climate adaptation. His work spans project preparation, bankability, stakeholder engagement and programme implementation, with a focus on sustainable urban infrastructure.

David has over 11 years of experience in infrastructure finance across Africa. Prior to joining FSD Africa, David served as Senior Investment Manager at the Resilient Water Accelerator where he led bankability and investor engagement for water resilience and climate adaptation projects and initiatives. Earlier, he led the Project Finance team at United Capital Plc, delivering advisory and capital raising mandates on sovereign-linked infrastructure and private sector projects.

He is driven by a conviction that well-structured finance can transform Africa’s urban resilience, and is committed to bridging the gap between development objectives and investable climate solutions.
