Doris is a programme management and strategic partnerships professional with over 6 years of experience in international development and humanitarian operations across Africa and the MENA region. She brings strong expertise in regional programme coordination, multi-stakeholder engagement and partnership management, successfully driving programme implementation in collaboration with NGOs, UN agencies, governments, and civil society organizations.
Prior to joining FSD Africa, she served as a Programme Associate at the World Food Programme’sEastern and Southern Africa Regional Office (ESARO), where she led strategic partner engagement across 22 countries, provided technical guidance on partnership lifecycle management, and supported the delivery of people-centred programming, while coordinating programme operations, stakeholder engagement, and reporting. She has also worked with the Open Society University Network, coordinating education and civic engagement programmes in refugee contexts across multiple regions.
Doris began her career at the Kenya Deposit Insurance Corporation, gaining early exposure to financial sector operations. She is passionate about translating strategy into impactful, inclusive programmesthrough collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and strong stakeholder relationships. She is a Certified Secretary of Kenya (CS-K) and holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Nairobi.
