Paul is a communications professional with more than 15 years’ experience in national and international organisations in eastern Africa. His work focuses on communication for development, content production and knowledge management.
He joins FSD Africa as Manager, Knowledge and Editorial from the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) where he led the publishing unit. His responsibilities in that role included the planning, producing and delivering high-quality scientific and institutional publications, and designing and implementing editorial standards for high-quality outputs. His professional experience includes working closely with researchers, communication experts, and partners to ensure communication outputs are made into accessible knowledge products.
Previously, he worked at the International Institute of Rural Reconstruction (IIRR) as Knowledge and Documentation Coordinator, where he played a key part in “writeshop” processes that highlighted IIRR project impacts in Kenya and Ethiopia.
Paul holds a master’s degree in communication from Daystar University, Kenya, and has professional training in editing, media messaging, and story development among other areas.
