Mathew Sisa is a results-oriented Development Impact professional with six years of experience using data, evidence and learning to strengthen programme effectiveness and development outcomes across Kenya. He brings a strong combination of analytical, programme and information management expertise, with experience translating complex data into actionable insights that support better decisions, adaptive programming and measurable impact.

Prior to joining FSD Africa, Mathew worked with Save the Children Kenya and Madagascar, supporting large-scale humanitarian and development programmes across health, nutrition, livelihoods, education and child protection. He contributed to the design and delivery of evidence frameworks, Theories of Change and evaluations, while developing digital solutions that strengthened data quality, accountability and programme decision-making. His work included supporting the design and rollout of beneficiary registry systems covering more than 70,000 individuals, as well as developing organisational performance dashboards, digital feedback systems and quality monitoring tools.

Mathew holds a background in Actuarial Science and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Information Systems and Technology at United States International University–Africa (USIU-Africa). He also has practical expertise in data analytics and digital information systems. He is passionate about using evidence to understand what works, identify barriers to impact and strengthen the use of data and learning in decision-making. He currently serves as a Development Impact Analyst at FSD Africa.
