Melvine Maryanne Achieng is a programme management and partnerships professional with extensive experience leading multi-country development programmes, strategic partnerships, and donor-funded initiatives across Sub-Saharan Africa. She has worked with governments, development partners, financial institutions, and the private sector to design and deliver programmes that strengthen financial inclusion, agricultural resilience, health, and youth development.
Prior to joining FSD Africa, Melvine served as a Project Manager at Pula, managing a regional portfolio of programmes across Sub-Saharan Africa. She previously held programme leadership roles at Global Alliance for a Healthy Society, Tiko, and Youth Alive Kenya, where she led regional initiatives, managed strategic partnerships, and delivered programmes that improved livelihoods and expanded access to essential services.
Melvine holds a Bachelor of Education in French and Geography and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA). She is passionate about designing and delivering innovative, scalable programmes that strengthen inclusive financial systems and create sustainable impact across Africa.
